Company
We are partnering with a National commercial builder recognised for excellence within the fit-out and refurbishment sector. They boast a diverse and prestigious portfolio of high-end projects spanning commercial office, hospitality, and corporate workplace environments.
Supported by a robust pipeline of upcoming projects valued between $2M and $25M, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager. The ideal candidate will excel in operational, high-stakes environments, possess sophisticated problem-solving capabilities, and maintain a proven track record of delivering premium finishes to programme.
This organisation offers a collaborative, cohesive culture where individual contributions are highly valued, backed by transparent leadership and comprehensive project resourcing.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will assume comprehensive ownership of project delivery from mobilisation through to final handover. This pivotal role requires ensuring that safety, programme, subcontractor coordination, and quality assurance are consistently executed to the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the on-site execution of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects from inception to completion.
Oversee subcontractor performance, supplier procurement, and daily site operations.
Drive construction schedules and short-term look-aheads to ensure all milestones are met.
Execute works within operational or occupied environments with minimal disruption to client operations.
Facilitate productive site meetings and coordinate seamlessly between consultants, clients, and trades.
Enforce rigorous standards for workplace health and safety (WHS), quality control, and site presentation.
What We Are Looking For:
Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager successfully delivering commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
A proven track record managing projects within the $5M–$15M valuation range.
Deep understanding of construction sequencing, high-end architectural finishes, and structural considerations.
High proficiency in managing works within active, operational, or staged delivery constraints.
A relevant trade background or a tertiary qualification in Construction Management is highly regarded.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and solutions-oriented problem-solving skills.
A proactive, hands-on leader who drives high operational standards and accountability across the workforce.
