Job Description for EOT Cranes Standardisation and Optimization Design Engineer (Team Member SOP)
Grades P1.1 & P1.2
1. Perform design calculation of crane and its components.
2.Develop and modify 3d models and assembly drawings using computer-aided design (cad) software.(Hands on experience in Autocad ( 2D) Solidworks /3D Modelling Software)
2.Data analysis of the library components and their optimization to meet the Crane standards.
3.Generate formulae and mechanisms to optimize the design output.
4. Also do a cost analysis of different components in cranes to optimize the output for bid support team.
5. Experience in Working in Design and Drawing Automation.
6. From time to time,he must be prepared to undertake tasks outside of their normal duties as requested by their immediate supervisors.
5.Perform basic stress analysis in solidworks alongwith hand calculations for the optimization of crane components.
6.Experience in crane feild is desired and also knowledge of different materials which can substitute the legacy material by weight reduction.
7.Basic knowledge of working of cranes,gearbox,motors,structural design etc.
Experience : 9 to 15 years
