Social Media Manager

Role Summary:
The Social Media Manager is responsible for crafting and executing the brand’s digital presence across platforms with a focus on aesthetic storytelling, community engagement, and driving meaningful interactions. This role requires a sharp eye for design, strong copy instincts, and an understanding of fashion and luxury consumer behaviour.
Key Responsibility Areas:
1. Content Strategy & Planning
Develop monthly content calendars aligned with product launches, campaigns, festivals, and retail events
Collaborate with design, retail, and production teams to gather content ideas and storytelling cues
Maintain brand tone, voice, and visual identity across all platforms
2. Visual Curation & Aesthetic Consistency
Work closely with designers, photographers, and editors to produce high-quality, visually rich content
Curate moodboards, reference reels, and aesthetic templates aligned with brand ethos
Ensure every post – static, carousel, story, or reel – is visually aligned and brand-forward
3. Copywriting & Captioning
Write engaging, on-brand captions, headlines, and hashtags
Adapt messaging style to suit Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest audiences
Occasionally script for short reels, behind-the-scenes clips, or founder-led content
4. Platform Management & Posting
Manage daily posting schedules and ensure consistency without compromising quality
Use scheduling tools (like Later, Planoly, Buffer, etc.) for efficient workflow
Monitor post-performance and ensure real-time interactions when needed
5. Community Engagement
Actively reply to DMs, comments, and mentions in a timely, brand-appropriate manner
Initiate and maintain conversations with influencers, stylists, collaborators, and clients
Build a loyal audience through authentic, two-way communication

Respond to live comments and audience interactions.
6. Influencer & Collaborator Coordination
Identify and reach out to stylists, influencers, or creatives for potential collaborations
Maintain a tracker for barter deals, deliverables, timelines, and performance of collaborations
Coordinate with PR or stylists for shoot credits, reposts, and media opportunities
7. Analytics & Reporting
Track engagement, reach, saves, shares, and conversion data monthly
Share actionable insights on what’s working, what’s not, and what to try
8. Trend Spotting & Experimentation
Stay up to date with Instagram trends, audio, hashtags, and platform changes
Propose experimental content formats: Instagram Live, behind-the-scenes reels, etc.
Bring fresh, relevant, yet brand-aligned content ideas to the table regularly
9. Product Imagery Direction
Provide direction and insights to the photoshoot team based on audience demand.
Desired Skills & Qualities
Strong sense of fashion aesthetics, especially Indian Heritage design
Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Suite (Photoshop/Lightroom), and basic video editing tools
Excellent communication and writing skills
Understanding of how to grow organically without diluting brand identity
Strategic thinking with an eye for performance and ROI
