Responsibilities
Strategic Storytelling: Develop high-level communications, presentations, and materials that translate complex organizational strategies into engaging content for diverse internal audiences.

Executive Support: Partner with senior leaders to draft messaging regarding capabilities, resourcing, and organizational priorities.

Channel Management: Lead the content strategy and coordination for internal video series, intranets, and social collaboration platforms (e.g., Viva Engage), ensuring all content is on-brand and aligned with enterprise messaging.

Planning & Alignment: Support the annual communication planning process and lead engagement activities that connect team performance to overarching corporate goals.

Metrics & Reporting: Track and analyze engagement data to develop comprehensive reports on the effectiveness of communication initiatives.

Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as a key point of contact between the Projects team and internal Public Affairs and Sustainability departments to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Qualifications
Education: University degree or diploma in Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in corporate communications or a similar strategic role.

Communication Skills: Exceptional writing and editing abilities with a proven track record of developing executive-level presentations.

Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in the MS Office Suite, with a particular emphasis on PowerPoint for high-stakes visual storytelling.

Project Management: Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines while managing competing interests.

Interpersonal Strength: A collaborative team player capable of building relationships across multiple levels of an organization.

Location: Ability to work from the Calgary office on the designated hybrid schedule, with occasional travel as required.
