- Strategy & Design:
- Develop and articulate a comprehensive total rewards strategy that supports the company's strategic goals, attracts and retains top talent, and promotes a high-performance culture within the manufacturing operations.
- Design, implement, and manage compensation structures (salary bands, incentive plans, gainsharing programs) and benefits programs (health, welfare, retirement, wellness) that are competitive and compliant.
- Compensation Management:
- Oversee annual compensation review processes, including merit increases, bonus payouts, and other incentive distributions.
- Conduct regular market benchmarking and salary surveys specific to the manufacturing industry to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Manage executive compensation programs, including plan design, administration, and compliance.
- Benefits Administration:
- Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with benefits brokers, vendors, and third-party administrators.
- Ensure benefits programs are cost-effective, compliant with local regulations, and meet the diverse needs of our workforce.
- Drive wellness initiatives and promote employee well-being through comprehensive benefits offerings.
- Recognition & Retention:
- Develop and champion effective recognition programs that foster a culture of appreciation and reinforce desired behaviors and performance across all levels, including plant operations.
- Identify and implement retention strategies through total rewards initiatives tailored to the manufacturing workforce.
- Compliance & Governance:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compensation and benefits trends, legislation, and best practices relevant to the manufacturing sector.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- Utilize data analytics to assess the effectiveness and impact of total rewards programs, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership on total rewards metrics and costs.
- Communication:
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to ensure employees understand the value and components of their total rewards package.
- Educate HR business partners and managers on total rewards philosophies, policies, and processes.
