Role Purpose and Responsibilities
The Senior Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end mid-office support for treasury operations, ensuring accurate deal settlements, meticulous compliance with borrowing and regulatory requirements, and robust exposure management for the organization.
1. Borrowing Operations & Mid-Office Support
Manage mid-office activities for all borrowing products including Inter-Corporate Deposits (ICD), Working Capital Demand Loans (WCDL), Short-Term Loans (STL), Non-Convertible Debentures (NCD), Commercial Paper (CP), and FCNR(B) facilities.
Process Working Capital interest and principal payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Execute deal settlements in SAP and submit comprehensive deal confirmations.
Prepare and manage weekly/monthly repayment schedules; submit repayment letters and process payments as per due dates.
Perform debit reconciliations on the day following payment execution.
Handle CP documentation and compliances.
Provide support for NCD documentation, including ISIN Creation and Activation on CDSL and NSDL portals.
Connect with counterparties for confirmations, discrepancy resolution, and query handling.
2. NCD & ECB Payments and Utilisation
Process payments for NCD and External Commercial Borrowings (ECB).
Coordinate with the Registrar & Transfer Agent (RTA), Bank, and FX Team for payments to bond investors, Debenture Trustees, and Facility Agents.
Liaise with the Treasury team to obtain and process TDS confirmations (RMS requests) for NCD/ECB.
Prepare and submit NCD Utilisation Certificates along with supporting utilisation evidence.
Coordinate on RBI/Secretarial matters through the Treasury function.
3. Foreign Exchange (FX) & Derivatives Mid-Office
Execute deal settlements for FX and Derivatives in SAP and submit deal confirmations.
Manage settlements for Forward EDC (Export Development Credit) and its cancellations, and process Option premium payments.
Handle Variation Margin (VM) settlements and reconciliation for derivatives.
Perform Mark-to-Market (MTM) valuation of Forwards using external sources (e.g., Bloomberg) and reconcile MTM reports with counterparties.
Provide E-net Banking access and support (Transaction / View) for Treasury and Business functions.
Update Mutual Funds NAV and manage Transfer Pricing related documentation.
4. Exposure Management & Compliance
Manage Treasury Exposure, connecting with business stakeholders for evidence submission and Budget data.
Perform Exposure Management activities and conduct Analysis of Actual Vs Budget variance.
Ensure Policy Adherence Verification for all treasury activities.
Monitor and certify Unhedged Foreign Currency Exposure and FX Contracted Exposure.
Maintain comprehensive Hedge Documentation and perform Variance Analysis on hedging activities.
Ensure timely compliance with all CP and NCD related regulations and filings.
