Primary Responsibilities• Technical Leadership & Strategy: Lead the technical department, setting the roadmap for manufacturing excellence, process innovation, and cost-saving projects.• Process Optimization: Oversee injection molding & extrusion operations to reduce scrap, optimize cycle times, and improve OEE.• Tooling Management: Lead mold trials, tool validation and design for manufacturability (DFM).• New Product Development (NPD): Manage the technical development of new parts, ensuring compliance with OEM quality requirements.• Quality Compliance: Ensure all products meet IATF 16949, ISO, SPC, and Cp/Cpk standards.• Troubleshooting: Provide expert technical support for complex process failures, material behavior issues, and quality defects.• Team Management: Train, mentor, and lead technicians and engineers in toolroom, production, and quality departments• Technical Skills:
o Deep knowledge of engineering plastics (PVC, ABS, PP, PC).
o Expertise in molding / extrusion machine operation.
o Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (UG NX, CATIA, AutoCAD) and mold flow analysis.
o Knowledge of automation, robotic arms, and painting/plating technologies.• Core Competencies: Strong leadership, troubleshooting skills, and hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
