We have opening of Testing Engineer at Faridabad location.
Role - Offrole / Contractual
Experience - 1 to 3 years
Qualification - BE / B.Tech Mechanical
Job Responsilibility :
- Planning for engine design & testing by establishing testing strategy, administering smooth functioning of the Engine Test lab, assigning the responsibility to the team, reviewing test data, identifying performance /durability issues and guiding the team for first time right design
- Monitoring the engine design process by reviewing the Designing Verification & Validation Plan (DVP), preparing test plan for new development engines and evaluating & verifying emission norms as per target market Integration & development by Leading the aggregate development process, prototype assembly as per the design and installation drawings, acquiring relevantparts from suppliers, verifying the consistency of performance for the parts received through reliability trials, ensuring required statutory clearances and finalising the specifications.
- Engineering change by Organizing Aggregates / parts tests with External Test agencies (If required), taking approval of Engineering Deviation, taking responsibility for engine combustion
- Project Management by setting the key objective, deliverables and performance metrics, monitoring the performance metrics/key milestones and recommending solutions as appropriate, planning for periodic project reviews and keeping all relevant stakeholders updated about the progress of the project
- People Management by training, motivating and directing employees to optimize workplace productivity, promoting professional growth, identifying critical positions and making succession plans optimization & Lab tests, Approving ECN/ ECA/ ECP and working closely with Service team to understand field failures for existing products and conducting manufacturing feasibility study with Manufacturing engineering team for new product introduction.
- Reliability & Durability Assessment by conducting engine endurance and validation test & proposing solutions to prevent failures, integration of vehicle aggregates, gathering validation feedback from the vehicle development team & troubleshooting, reviewing field failure issues, benchmarking against global standards and providing inputs for design improvements
- Stakeholder management by Working in collaboration with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the testing, costing & durability strategy, Communicating the impact of market change on vehicle testing, ensuring the prototype meets the design/test specification, monitoring performance of the pilot aggregate and reviewing the performance test data.
