    Randstad are recruiting for an Assembly Operator for a client based in Cheddar. They are responsible for designing and manufacturing valves and are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.Role OverviewThe successful candidate will be a key part in the start of the new production team and will report to the development lead. As part of a small team, you will be expected to take ownership of your work, deliver high quality output and be proactive in proposing improvements and solutions. They will work across a range of hydraulic servo valve products, taking them through assembly and testing. Essential requirements:Assembly of mechanical products.Have a good understanding of following engineering drawings.Measuring and recording quality control points.Ability to work alone.Good oral communication skills.Following Health and Safety Policies.Motivated and professional personality. Beneficial requirements:2 or more years industry experience.Proficient with IT.Experience in Fault Finding.Experience with Hydraulic equipment.Open to shift work. Key responsibilities:Assemble Hydraulic Servo Valves.Hydraulic testing of servo valves using machinery.Update stock levels.Update production software.
