Responsibilities:- Strategize and spearhead the digital transformation in alignment with the overall vision of the company and its promoters.
- Create, develop, operationalize, and drive a robust roadmap, including a business plan, to exploit the huge opportunity seen in the digital space.
- Oversee the development, monitoring, and delivery of digital products and projects, including the necessary technology and change management.
- Lead resource planning, management, and product development, as well as the digital marketing team required to pursue the digital journey.
- Improve the effectiveness and impact of existing digital assets to optimize revenue and profit in current properties.
- Ensure best practices are implemented across the company and its group companies in the digital and tech domains.
- Hold overall responsibility for the smooth functioning of technological systems and infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with all other functional heads, guiding them on effectively using digital avenues and technology to enhance the efficiency of their respective functions.
- Master’s degree (MBA preferred) or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- 12–15 years of relevant experience, with 4–5 years in a team leadership role preferred.
- Proven hands-on digital leadership: Ability to lead digital initiatives from the ground up, setting vision, building roadmaps, and delivering outcomes in early-stage or transformation contexts.
- Strong experience in product and platform ownership: Building and scaling digital products that solve real user needs. Solid grasp of product strategy, design thinking, MVPs, and iterative delivery.
- Solid understanding of marketing and content alignment: Performance marketing, content strategy, and audience engagement. Ability to link brand, content, and conversion across digital channels.
- Comfort with technology and legacy systems: Familiarity with IT infrastructure, data privacy, and integration challenges. Ability to work closely with IT while championing modern digital approaches.
- Data-first decision-making: Skilled in using digital and product analytics tools to drive continuous improvement.
- Experience in vendor and partner management: Working with digital agencies, tech vendors, and freelancers, from evaluation to execution.
- Proven ability in team building across functions: Built or scaled lean, cross-functional teams across product, marketing, and IT. Ability to set direction, coach talent, and build momentum from scratch.
- Ideally, hands-on experience in digital-first sectors such as e-commerce, sportstech, fintech, edtech, or foodtech.
