• Complex Instrument Stewardship: Direct the accounting treatment for sophisticated
instruments, including OTC derivatives, bank-debts, structured products, and private
investments, ensuring compliance with US GAAP or as per fund documents.
• Audit Ownership: Lead annual audit cycles by managing relationships with external auditors
(Big 4) and ensuring "zero-deficiency" financial reporting.
3. Operational Excellence & Risk Management
• Control Environment: Establish and maintain a rigorous control framework (SOC1/ISAE
3402) to mitigate operational and regulatory risk.
• Transformation & Integration: Drive "Digital First" initiatives, leveraging SS&C Geneva, PFS
Paxus, or Mantra to eliminate manual touchpoints via automation and workflow
optimization.
• Change Management: Lead strategic initiatives for new fund launches, platform migrations,
and global process standardization without impacting BAU stability. 4. People Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Talent Development: Lead and mentor a multi-layered team of professionals, overseeing
succession planning and technical upskilling.
