Sales – Senior Executive / Assistant Manager / Assistant Area Manager
Location- Bangalore
Job PurposeResponsible for achieving sales targets, expanding and managing the dealer network, ensuring process adherence, improving product visibility, and driving profitability within the assigned territory.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Market Execution
Achieve sales targets as per defined goals.
Conduct regular dealer visits as per the Personal Journey Plan (PJP).
Carry out market mapping to increase counter share and market penetration.
Drive profitability in terms of contribution margin.
Ensure strict adherence to field sales processes including PJP, DSR, and MIS.
Dealer Network Development
Map and manage the existing network of dealers and sub-dealers.
Strengthen and expand the dealer and distributor network.
Identify, appoint, and onboard new dealers/distributors.
Provide handholding and support to new dealers for the first 6 months.
Increase width and depth of distribution by adding new counters and expanding reach.
Identify and map high-end dealers and retail counters to enhance sales.
Conduct market mapping for new towns as well as existing markets.
Commercial Management
Ensure timely collection of outstanding dues.
Obtain balance confirmations from all parties on a monthly basis.
Process Compliance
Ensure complete adherence to sales processes and company guidelines.
Submit Personal Journey Plan (PJP) on time.
Submit Daily Sales Reports (DSR) regularly and accurately.
Product Visibility & Brand Promotion
Ensure maximum brand visibility through proper sampling at dealer and sub-dealer outlets.
Drive effective merchandising, branding, and product awareness at dealer counters.
Ensure product visibility at prime locations within dealer outlets.
Maintain adequate and appropriate product displays with high brand impact.
Conduct regular training for dealer sales staff on product features, benefits, and pricing.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
5–8 years of relevant sales experience.
Age: Below 40 years.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working with a dealer network is mandatory.
Building Materials industry experience is mandatory.
Knowledge of the hardware industry will be an added advantage.
Prior experience in technical sales is preferred.
