■Organizational OverviewThe Finance & Accounting Department oversees statutory accounting, expenditure controls, treasury operations, external compliance reporting, corporate taxation, FP&A, and business performance analytics.Within this department, this role operates within the Financial Reporting & General Ledger Team to manage:(1) Daily transaction processing and ledger integrity aligned with statutory compliance requirements.(2) Periodic statutory, financial, and regulatory disclosures for supervisory authorities, industry bodies, and the global parent organization.(3) Preparation and reconciliation of schedules for local and national corporate tax filings and banking operations.(4) Maintenance and enforcement of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR / SOX-equivalent).(5) In-depth financial variance analysis and presentation decks for executive leadership.(6) Prudential capital adequacy and solvency compliance reporting.■Job DescriptionCollaborate with cross-functional internal teams and external advisory partners to execute the following duties:■Technical Accounting・Deliver guidance to finance and operational business units on transaction accounting, applying appropriate materiality thresholds and dual-accounting framework principles (Local GAAP vs. International Standards). Provide technical input on complex judgment areas and tax implications.■Period-End Closing・Drive and coordinate the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing cycles across business units to meet firm group deadlines.・Take ownership of key closing deliverables across both local statutory standards and group international reporting principles.・Perform subledger-to-general-ledger reconciliations and maintain chart of accounts integrity.・Serve as a primary point of contact for external auditor inquiries, regulatory examinations, and tax audits.・Identify operational bottlenecks and lead automation initiatives across financial reporting workflows.■Financial & Regulatory Reporting・Prepare consolidated financial packages serving as inputs to broader corporate reporting cycles.・Produce routine statutory filings adhering to standards prescribed by government supervisory agencies, regulatory commissions, and tax offices.・Consolidate and submit group-level periodic performance results to global headquarters in partnership with management accounting.・Compile risk-based capital adequacy metrics and statutory prudential solvency returns for regulatory bodies and group risk committees.・Analyze underlying commercial drivers behind reported figures and provide commercial commentary to management.・Address ongoing inquiries and technical data requests from group corporate offices and regulatory representatives.■Corporate Tax & Compliance・Coordinate internal resources and external tax advisors on compliance for corporate income tax, local trade taxes, indirect/value-added taxes, and property/asset levies.・Manage tax authority inspections, documentation requests, and audit fieldwork.■Internal Controls & Systems・Maintain and optimize general ledger master data architectures to fulfill multinational parent reporting requirements and local legal obligations.■Special Projects・Support ad-hoc initiatives including systems integrations, standard transitions, and enterprise-wide process re-engineering.■Role Highlights・Broad cross-functional engagement offering end-to-end visibility into operational and commercial business activities.・Direct interaction and collaborative negotiation with international corporate headquarters and overseas business units.
