In this role you will travel to aged care facilities and services providers to assess their quality and conduct risk audits within a regulatory framework. You will be working in a Federal Government Agency with national opportunities across Australia in Perth, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, and Melbourne.Your new roleAs a site assessor, you will complete accreditation audits and perform risk assessments for residential aged care services, home care services and flexi-care services. This will involve Meeting with consumers to assess care and service qualityConduct interviews with and collect evidence Collate and analyse evidence to produce corresponding reports and recommendationsApply findings within aged care standards and legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks Extensive travel within each state involving overnight travel on a weekly or fortnightly basis What you will need to be successfulYour background will either be in auditing and risk management ideally within aged care. Alternatively, you may be from a clinical nursing background in the health sector, working in investigations or quality framework.
