What you'll be doing:- Establish and achieve project targets and milestones to deliver mechanical construction projects on-time and within budget.- Lead and manage project quality assurance, commissioning, and handover objectives.- Proactively identify and bring to management’s attention to potential problems and/or schedule delays.- Lead pre-job planning including estimate turnover, kick-off meetings, subcontractor selection, material handling strategies, and opportunities for risk management and improved productivity.- Develop and lead value engineering, cost savings, and pricing initiatives and activities.- Manage project team to ensure requirements for document control, change order process, coordination of equipment and material deliveries, site meetings, and progress documentation are adhered to.- Build strong relationships with clients, General Contractors, and Engineers to positively contribute to the success of the project.- Identify opportunities to provide project team members with regular feedback, coaching and training.Why you want this job: - Competitive base salary ($120,000 - $130,000) with bonus/profit sharing. - 3-4 weeks vacation. - Relocation support/package to Atlantic Canada. - RSP contribution and matching options. - Opportunity to further advance and grow your career. - Nation-wide company with future potential for exciting projects after completion of new build.
