- Collaborates with IT Architecture, IT Functional & Process Designers and IT Business Partners to understand requirements and translates them into comprehensive design specifications, where precedent may not exist, provides input on feasibility of new features
- Actively contributes to the implementation of standards, methods, features and logic for software with large impact on business operations
- Takes a lead role in coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting tasks throughout the development process where precedent may not exist, providing guidance and support to both junior and intermediate team members
- Leads small project teams in the delivery of solution or infrastructure deliverables of moderate complexity, setting project timelines, review work of more junior staff, continuously reviewing and updating the specifications, in line with user requirements
- Maintains proper documentation of software design and works with IT Functional & Process Designers to design and implement solutions to meet architecture standards
- Contributes to the defined development roadmap, contributing to the organization's development and technology strategy
- Embodies a development culture that supports innovation and creativity while delivering high quality products with predictability and reliability
