- Assists in the execution of activities driving the development and implementation of the procurement strategy, processes and plans. Assists in the execution of the category plans
- Follows Company policy to perform complex purchasing activities e.g., gathering purchasing requests, facilitating complex negotiation of pricing, delivery, service and vendor quality, identifying sources and developing procurement plans
- Supports projects or business units by acting as the business interface, providing updates, answering queries and remedying issues
- Conduct supplier assessments and manage supplier relationships. Reviews supplier proposals and complex quantitative and qualitative analyses to facilitate negotiations
- Supports the evaluation, assessment, and negotiation of RFP’s based on specifications set, identifying areas of concern and proposing ways for mitigation, proposing the preferred vendor, and providing solid rationale for the selection of the most efficient solution for the group
- Reviews supplier proposals and performs complex quantitative and qualitative analyses to facilitate the negotiations strategy development process
- Administers highly complex contractual agreements for specific items as needed in compliance with organization policies and procedures
- Identifies and recommends process improvements to improve operational efficiency. Monitor market trends to adjust strategies accordingly Grade Descriptor
