About the Team: Talent & Expertise Group (TEG) in Global IT and the x-one program
Randstad is becoming a more global company, and our Talent & Expertise Group (TEG) within Global IT is key to this vision. TEG is a team of 100+ employees working on various programs and projects. It's a vibrant place to learn, engage, and collaborate with peers across Randstad, both locally and globally.
As part of Randstad's strategy, we're accelerating our digital capabilities and fostering closer collaboration with our 39 countries. The x-one program is bringing many of these developments together.
A Day in the Life of a Global Implementation Manager
The global implementation team is responsible for bringing the x-one program (r-one, m-one, etc.) to life. You'll be a leader, guiding our markets through the r-one implementation process. You'll expertly balance local needs (especially legislative requirements) with the need for global scale and applicability. You'll provide hands-on support during implementation, championing our program's runbook and leading markets on their implementation journey. By leveraging best practices from previous markets, you'll continuously refine our approach. Expect to work closely with local market teams on the ground, especially during the initial pre-onboarding phase (around 6 weeks), which involves significant travel. After this, travel will be less frequent.
Your Responsibilities Include:
... - Market Liaison & Change Enablement: As part of the global implementation team, you'll be the primary contact for market teams, focusing on product implementation and ensuring smooth adoption. This includes orchestrating the involvement of subject matter experts from other global teams and facilitating change across diverse markets.
- Implementation Strategy & Planning: During the start-up phase, you'll help introduce the implementation strategy, roadmap, and supporting tools. This involves:
- Contributing to the creation of robust implementation plans.
- Helping to build a clear roadmap for global platform implementation.
- Leading the functionality impact assessment for each market, drawing on your understanding of Randstad's business needs.
- Developing and implementing tools to track and monitor the progress on the implementation backlog.
- R-one & M-one Product Expertise: You'll become the go-to person for questions related to the r-one and m-one functionality. This means:
- Understanding which platform functionalities require local business configurations, leveraging your Randstad operational insights.
- Creating and maintaining up-to-date communication materials to support effective change management.
- Market Portfolio Management: You'll manage a portfolio of markets, where you will be the primary contact for the local team to prepare the implementation. This includes:
- Organizing workshops for the local market team during the implementation process, ensuring their engagement and buy-in.
- Leading the market in making the local business configuration choices (e.g., client segmentation), applying your knowledge of Randstad's client base.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Besides working closely with the markets, you will also partner with other stakeholders in Global IT and Randstad Global overall, driving collaborative solutions.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Master's degree preferable in business or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience with implementation management, project management, or a product owner role, ideally within a complex, global organization.
- Proven experience with and in-depth understanding of agile methodologies.
- Strong technical understanding of products and up-to-date on industry standards and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of Randstad work processes and in-branch experience is a must. Your understanding of our operations will be crucial to your success.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (fluent in English).
- Strong collaborative interpersonal skills to work across diverse, global teams and drive consensus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on practical solutions.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to know when to push back and manage expectations effectively.
- Strong sense of commitment to deliver and implement on time, with a focus on impact.
- Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of software development.
- Ability to consult with and identify needs of internal and external customers and drive value creation.
