- Manages a large IT support team or small team of junior and intermediate cloud/application professionals, sets performance objectives, conducts performance reviews and recommends pay actions
- Manages related IT support activities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. Assists in the development and implementation of plans to enhance service delivery, aligns team efforts with organizational goals, and ensures adherence to IT standards and best practices
- Coordinates the IT services activities for a small department and implements the global IT services strategy
- Manages team resources, schedules and budget. Assists in the development of resource plans and budget proposals. Ensures appropriate implementation of processes and standards in the team, and monitors IT service quality and adherence to the IT framework.
- Supports the identification and implementation of improvement initiatives using IT to increase business efficiency and results on a local level
- Mentors junior team members and builds high performing teams, fostering a culture to drive customer experience and joint results within the team Grade Descriptor
- In-depth understanding of concepts and principles in own discipline and a good knowledge of these elements in related disciplines
- Provides management and guidance to professional employees and/or supervisors or supervises large, complex business or technical support teams

- Adapts team plans, sets priorities and allocates resources to align with business area objectives
- Provides input into budgets
