- Provides sound technical expertise in support of information security and risk activities specific to the specialism to achieve objectives by supporting the development and implementation of the information security governance and compliance process across an OpCo/market, reporting on the effectiveness of security procedures and safeguards and delivering security solutions to projects across the design, build and execution phase
- Facilitates collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and works effectively with peers, management, and internal teams. Addresses complex queries, resolve issues, and handle high-priority ad-hoc requests. Has an understanding of departmental needs and processes, and provides tailored recommendations based on this understanding
- Executes and coordinates the design, implementation, and maintenance of security tools, solutions and processes to ensure an appropriate level of security posture. Oversees the monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing of security systems to protect against potential threats and escalates issues where necessary. Resolves escalated issues or escalates complex issues further
- Seeks opportunities for continuous improvement within the specialism in response to internal developments, works with team members to identify continuous improvement plans
- Runs analysis to the development of the business continuity management program and disaster recovery plan. Gathers data and reports on the effectiveness of recovery solutions
- Assists with the implementation and application of security operating processes and procedures, and ensures all activities adhere to the security standards. Supports operations team to implement designs into production solutions which meet required security standards
