Job purpose and responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable Java-based microservices and high-performance web applications.
- Lead the architecture of seamless data flows and integration solutions between internal and external platforms.
- Implement and support API-led connectivity and AWS Lambda-based serverless functions.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in coding standards, system architecture, and security guidelines.
- Drive the end-to-end delivery of features, ensuring that technical solutions result in intuitive and performant user experiences.

- Develop and customize complex integration workflows in Spring Boot microservices, Integration Platform and AWS Lambda.
- Architect and maintain robust backend data flows and complex data mapping configurations.
- Design, integrate, and expose RESTful APIs for frontend consumption and external system connectivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including designers, product managers, and QA to translate requirements into elegant technical solutions.
- Actively participate in code and design reviews, raising the overall code quality bar through clean code practices and SOLID principles.
- Mentor and influence the technical direction of the team while maintaining a strong ownership mindset over product features.
- Ensure code quality, unit testing, and performance optimization across all layers of the stack.
- Handle production issues, critical incidents, and provide technical leadership during high-pressure situations.

Job requirements
education, experience & knowledge
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience: 5-6+ years of experience in product engineering and developing enterprise-grade solutions.
- Frameworks: Strong hands-on knowledge of Java (Core Java), Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- Cloud Expertise: Proficiency in AWS services including Lambda, Role-based Access Control (RBAC/IAM), and Authentication protocols.
- Integration Platforms: Experience with Integration platforms like Workato and MuleSoft.
- Methodology: Expert knowledge of Git, CI/CD workflows, Docker, and Agile methodologies.
