your typical day includes
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive product expert/manager (with understanding of e2e detail workflows) to play a crucial role in high level and detailed design of our front & mid office application workflows through x-one and guiding markets in preparation and during implementation bringing our product vision to life. In this unique position, you will closely collaborate with product experts/managers by working on high-level design, partner with product owners and business analysts on delivering input on detailed specifications. For implementation you will work closely together with the implementation manager, who onboards the market in the end to end journey, where you take ownership of onboarding in full product detail and discuss these features with our business. Your deep understanding of the product's intricacies will be essential in guiding the configuration process and ensuring successful adoption. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both the strategic and the tactical aspects of product development and has a knack for translating designs into practical business solutions.
We are implementing unified processes, journies and products to support these. The methodology we work by is ‘comply or explain’. Deviations from the standard are only supported if driven by law or regulation.
As a product expert/manager, you are the leader and visionary for a collection of products all focused on front- & mid-office workflows & process flows through the system application (for services for example like temp, perm, freelance/independent contractors, suppliers, VMS, workforce scheduling). Your primary responsibility is to ensure the seamless delivery and operation of the product by supporting our talent and client journey., whether it’s a tangible offering, a software solution, or a set of processes supporting organizational service delivery goals. A main priority in the role is to ensure our front- and mid-office processes lead to cash and attract to retire, and ensure these are secure and future-proof (incl. seamless, automated and centralized application flows through x-one with if needed integrations on a local situation).
For service-oriented products, this often involves managing complex workflows to ensure efficient service delivery to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
To achieve this, you act as a proactive & pragmatic leader, aiming to innovate and elevate critical aspects of the product's ecosystem. This could include streamlining processes such as talent & client interactions, administrative operations, or user management to deliver a comprehensive, well-integrated solution for end-users.
You will work with a team, often comprising product owners and business analysts, who will execute specific aspects of the product lifecycle under your guidance. This has a direct impact on business and plays a critical role in enabling core business functions, supporting front-line operations, and ensuring transactional efficiency.
By aligning with organizational objectives, your leadership ensures the product not only meets current needs but also evolves to address future challenges, driving value and operational excellence.
Success will be measured based on first-time right delivery of services against lowest costs possible.
your responsibilities
Identifying needs and issues:
- recognize critical needs and operational challenges across teams and stakeholders, and drive resolutions effectively.
Vision and roadmap ownership:
- develop and maintain the product vision, roadmap, backlog, pricing strategies, licensing models, and ROI goals.
Feature Prioritization and Delivery:
- define and prioritize features and enablers to align with program objectives, ensuring timely releases that meet business and customer expectations.
Market readiness:
- establish and validate go-to-market criteria to ensure products are ready for launch and adoption.
Product enablement and support:
● oversee readiness and enablement processes to support successful product
implementation and usage.
Operational documentation:
- implement, review, and deliver operational procedures, policies, and documentation to ensure user clarity and consistency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- work closely with teams across the organization—including process excellence, global operational steering, product, design, architecture, development, and partnerships—to deliver impactful customer experiences that drive key business outcomes.
Performance metrics:
● define, monitor, and report key service and product performance indicators in
collaboration with business and mid office GPO.
Stakeholder engagement:
- Liaise with stakeholders across functions such as release management, change management, operations, and program management teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Global Alignment:
- ensure implementation of one globally aligned steering approach and align with Product Managers across regions to maintain consistency, share insights, and foster collaboration.
Team management:
- work closely with a team of product owners and business analysts, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
education and experience
- BS/BA in a relevant field
- 5-7 years of product management experience, with domain knowledge of our business, front, mid- and back-office administration
- deep knowledge of mid office and connection to back office process and systems
- successful experience in managing and aligning multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality products
- minimum 2 years’ roadmap/strategic plan ownership
- proven experience with various project methodologies
- applicable knowledge or experience in IT Governance
- strong business strategy and technical acumen
- background in analysis and solutioning, preferably with aspects involving complex logic or integrations.
