about the job
As a Recruitment Intern at Randstad Malaysia — you will receive hands-on experience in commercial talent acquisition, headhunting, and market intelligence. This internship is designed as a potential springboard for a full-time role as an Associate Recruitment Consultant upon succesful completion.
Key Responsibilities:

- Talent Sourcing & Mapping: Utilize internal databases to proactively source, map, and identify top-tier active and passive candidates.
- Candidate Screening & Shortlisting: Conduct initial telephone screenings and competency-based evaluations to assess candidate overall technical skills and culture fit; curate high-quality candidate shortlists for senior consultants review.
- End-to-End Interview Coordination: Manage complete interview logistics, facilitate timely feedback collection, and support in candidate engagement throughout the entire recruitment lifecycle.
- Market & Business Research: Assist in sector-specific market intelligence and mapping.
- Data Integrity & Systems Management: Ensure accurate, real-time maintenance of candidate records, CV profiles, and interaction logs within the CRM/ATS.
skills or requirements needed
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Psychology / Human Resource or equivalent.
- Communication Skills: Fluent spoken and written English with confidence.
- Mindset & Drive: A resilient, goal-oriented mindset with high curiosity, energy, and a desire to learn commercial recruitment.
- Organization: Strong detail orientation, ability to multi-task, and good time-management skills.
