the position and the team
As a financial analyst, with strong data analysis skills, you will be part of the Group Performance and Control department, which advises and supports the ELT and SB members in their decision-making to enhance and sustain the overall performance of the Randstad organization. Main purpose of the team is to drive our Corporate governance cycle, strategic planning, budget process, performance reporting, review meetings, benchmarking, and target setting together with supporting our corporate functions in the performance management cycle.
Purpose of the role
Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from multiple sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Drive and take ownership of key components of the corporate planning cycle (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual)
Corporate intelligence, ensure visibility of market developments and the competitive situation
Support BI tools optimization and digitalization of performance reporting
Maximize value of new reporting systems, automate processes, ensure relevant management information is readily available
Participate in a high quality planning & control cycle (data and analysis) and provide ad-hoc analysis and support to various functions, perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.
Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present data findings in a clear and meaningful way.
Lead process improvement initiatives by identifying, designing, and implementing solutions for data quality enhancement and automation, ultimately transitioning ownership of improved processes.
Collaborate with data engineers/data experts to cycle for function for the corporate functions, including analysis of reporting information to help drive impact.
Skills, competences and other personal characteristics:
minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), business control, or a similar corporate finance role within a multinational corporation in India.
Leadership Potential: Demonstrable experience in project leadership, mentoring junior colleagues, or a strong aptitude for building and managing a team.
excellent command of the English language in word and writing is needed in the day-to-day performance of the role
Proficient in Excel/google sheets and experience with financial systems and tools
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Understanding of business control and related technical areas such as Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and Risk Management (overall understanding of the other finance disciplines)
Strong analytical skills with experience in developing financial models
Shift : 10 am to 7 pm IST
