We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data & Analytics Engineer to join our growing team based in Hyderabad, but supporting our UK functions. This role will be crucial in implementing python & data engineering solutions along with supporting the team in debugging and solving data oriented problems.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Python Development: Write robust, efficient, and scalable Python code to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
Data Modeling & SQL: Design, write, and optimise complex SQL queries to support analytics and business intelligence efforts.
Data Engineering & Analytics: Build and maintain reliable ETL/ELT pipelines. Partner with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver clean, reliable datasets for reporting and analytics.
Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy, manage, and monitor data workloads using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, or Cloud Functions).
AI & Problem Solving: Act as a creative problem-solver. Keep an eye out for ways to integrate AI/ML tools or predictive analytics to automate tasks and surface deeper insights.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Problem Solver: A relentless curiosity and a "figure it out" mentality. You enjoy tackling ambiguous problems and exploring how modern tech (including AI) can solve them.
Strong Python proficiency: You should be comfortable with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and have the ability to debug errors independently.
Solid SQL skills: Ability to write joins, and optimise query performance or make enhancements in the current SQL code to support team members in troubleshooting.
Data Engineering Fundamentals: A good understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and pipeline orchestration.
Analytical Mindset: You don't just move data; you understand what the data means and how it impacts the business.
Cloud Experience: Basic familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
Exceptional communication skills and collaboration skills.
