JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title:
Business Analyst
The Business Analyst will be responsible for independently leading cross-functional process analysis and driving strategic transformation initiatives across the FSS Business Group and beyond.
Process Analysis and Documentation:
Conduct thorough analyses of existing business processes and design the future-state process roadmap to eliminate bottlenecks and optimize end-to-end performance.
Document current processes, including workflow diagrams, data flowcharts, and process maps, to provide a clear understanding of the current state.
Data Collection and Analysis:
Gather and analyze relevant data to quantify process performance, identify trends, and measure the impact of process changes.
Use data-driven insights to recommend and prioritize process improvement initiatives.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Lead cross-functional collaboration and manage stakeholder expectations across multiple departments, acting as the primary subject matter expert for process improvements.
Facilitate workshops, meetings, and brainstorming sessions to engage teams in problem-solving and process improvement activities.
This includes:
Change Management:
Own the change management lifecycle, including developing and executing communication and training plans to ensure successful adoption of major process changes.
Provide training and support to employees affected by process changes, ensuring successful adoption of new practices.
Solution Development:
Develop innovative solutions and recommendations for process improvements that align with the organization's strategic goals.
Design and propose new process workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and guidelines that drive efficiency and effectiveness.
The Business Process Analyst, Business Transformation will adhere to standard governance guidelines, policies and procedures. This position will be exposed to multiple tools for process optimization, system enhancements and automation, to be leveraged as needed.
Education & Experience (Required and Preferred):
Required:
4 - 7 years of professional services experience preferably in staffing industry with at least 2 years of that experience managing end-to-end, cross-functional process improvement projects independently
Strong communication and analytical skills
Lean Six Sigma experience/certification, able to facilitate successful Kaizen workshops
Intermediate proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and ability to leverage spreadsheet and other tools to solve problems/build solutions
Strong documentation/written communication with process mapping experience
Defining, analyzing, uncovering and crafting requirements with users
Strong requirement gathering and analysis skills (ability to work with a structured and methodical approach, combined with an inquiring mind)
Ability to understand the business process and create process flow diagrams
Proven change management expertise to facilitate smooth transitions during process changes
Intermediate proficiency with SQL for data extraction and analysis
Preferred:
An IT or Business Bachelor’s degree
Working as part of an Agile team
Hands-on experience with Celonis Process Mining & Execution Management (Views, Analyses, Knowledge Models, PQL, Studio, Data Integration)
Testing experience
Peoplesoft HR and Financials
Macros/VBA/VBS
Design capabilities for dashboards to support the business in identifying issues and prioritizing where action is required
Google Suite
Working in a fast paced business environment and utilizing Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Methodologies
