Position Overview:
The Sales Enablement Group for Randstad Canada is seeking a Data Analysis Specialist to serve as the operational engine for our major account reporting. This role is primarily responsible for the extraction, manipulation, and synthesis of placement and talent data to support our MSP-based clients. You will ensure that high-stakes reports, dashboards, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) are accurate, automated, and delivered with a focus on process sustainability.
Key Role and Responsibilities
MSP Client Reporting: Manage the end-to-end data lifecycle for MSP accounts, specifically focusing on placement metrics and talent acquisition data.
Dashboard Management: Regularly refresh and maintain performance dashboards using a hybrid of manual Excel extractions and direct pulls from the data warehouse.
QBR Support: Provide the data backbone for Quarterly Business Reviews, transforming raw performance metrics into clear, client-ready insights.
Data Synthesis & Extraction: Use SQL and Excel to pull, filter, and automate complex reports, ensuring the "flow of data" is consistent and accurate across the organization.
Data Centralization: Aggregate information from decentralized sources (internal systems, JDE, and external market data) to create a "single source of truth" for stakeholders.
Process Optimization: Identify and create new workflows to automate manual reporting tasks, ensuring team sustainability and long-term efficiency.
Key CompetenciesOperational Rigor: A "hands-on" approach to data, with a focus on the daily execution of reporting tasks and SLA adherence.
Analytical Precision: Exceptional attention to detail; ensuring talent and placement data is accurate before it reaches the client.
Problem-Solving: The ability to contextualize data issues and find efficient ways to bridge gaps between different data sources.
Collaboration: A proactive team player comfortable working in a split-shift environment to support onshore leadership and stakeholders.
Technical Skills & Qualifications
Data Manipulation: Expert-level proficiency in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, and Power Query) for manual data cleaning and extraction.
Database Querying: Intermediate SQL skills (SSMS) with the ability to use and modify templates to pull data directly from the data warehouse.
Business Intelligence: Experience refreshing and navigating Power BI dashboards and translating data into visual graphs and charts.
Reporting Tools: Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets/Decks) and Microsoft Office for the creation of client-facing presentations.
Automation: A strong ability to automate recurring reports to reduce manual overhead and improve turnaround times.
Execution Focus: Proven ability to manage a high volume of requests from multiple stakeholders while meeting tight deadlines.
Education & Qualifications (Required and Preferred):
Experience: 3+ years of experience in data analysis, lead generation, or a research-heavy operational role.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Shift: 3 pm to 12 pm IST but during the initial 2 week training period, 8-430EST Day 1, 6-230 EST for the remainder of the 2 weeks.
