Act as the bridge between Design, engineering, and production teams.• Strengthen production capability through troubleshooting, process improvements, and automation.• Build and mentor a high-performing engineering support team• Establish best practices, standards, and technical frameworks for manufacturing excellence Roles & Responsibility• Lead and manage a team of engineers supporting production troubleshooting and improvements• Drive DFM/DFA reviews for new and existing products to ensure manufacturability• Develop and deploy fixtures, jigs, and semi/fully automated solutions• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, QA, SCM) for smooth product transfer to manufacturing• Identify chronic production issues and implement sustainable engineering solutions• Standardize processes, documentation, and engineering practices across lines• Build technical depth within the team through coaching and structured capability development• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, cost, and productivity Specific Skill Specific Technical Areas Strong expertise in electronics engineering (PCB, system-level understanding preferred)• Hands-on experience in DFM/DFA and NPI (New Product Introduction) processes• Proven capability in transferring products from design to manufacturing (TTM/ToT)• Experience in fixture design, test setups, and production automation• Good understanding of manufacturing processes (SMT, box build, assembly lines)• Exposure to root cause analysis tools (8D, Fishbone, FMEA, etc.)• Familiarity with regulatory-driven industries (preferably medical devices/electronics) General Skill• Strong leadership with the ability to groom and scale technical teams• Problem-solving mindset with high ownership and execution focus• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management• Ability to think strategically while being hands-on when required• Strong communication and influencing skills• High adaptability and ability to operate in evolving roles/environments• Result-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement
