Responsibilities
- Service Sustainment: Lead the administration, monitoring, and performance tuning of the Oracle IAM 12c technology stack. This includes starting/stopping services, backup/recovery, and certificate renewals.
- Tier-3 Technical Support: Provide advanced triaging and analysis for production incidents. Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to support PKI and OIM environments.
- Infrastructure Management: Maintain high-availability environments built on Oracle Fusion Middleware, OHS, Tomcat, and WebSphere, running on Linux, Solaris, and AIX.
- Client Integration: Analyze technical requirements and design secure approaches for integrating client applications with central IAM services using standardized patterns.
- Operational Excellence: Apply ITIL processes (Change, Release, and Problem Management) to ensure stable service delivery and minimize impact during system updates.
- Automation & Tooling: Develop scripts, utilities, and reports to automate maintenance tasks and integration workflows; evaluate and recommend new support tools to improve the team's posture.
- Quality Assurance: Execute quality control practices for large-scale implementations, ensuring all deployments align with the Oracle Unified Methodology (OUM).
Qualifications
- Oracle IAM Mastery: 10+ years of experience sustaining COTS IAM systems, with at least 4 years specifically dedicated to Oracle Identity and Access Management Suite Plus (OIAM 12c preferred).
- Large-Scale Experience: Proven track record supporting identity implementations for over 10,000 registered users.
- Full Stack Infrastructure: 10+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Database 19c, OHS, IBM WebSphere, and various web servers (IIS, Apache).
- Security Depth: Strong understanding of PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), SSL, encryption, and privilege management.
- Methodology & Monitoring: 3+ years of experience with Oracle Unified Methodology (OUM) and proficiency in monitoring tools like Nagios.
- Service Management: Deep experience with ITIL processes and decision-making frameworks in a high-pressure production environment.
- Systems Expert: Extensive knowledge of multi-platform environments including Windows, Linux, Solaris, and AIX.
