This position offers an intensive learning environment where you will manage a broad range of specialized transactions, directly impacting the operational effectiveness of our trade processing functions.
Duration: 6-month initial contract (Potential for extension/conversion).
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Overtime required based on volumes).
Location: Toronto (100% onsite for training/first 3 months).
Interview Process: One 30-minute virtual interview.

Responsibilities
Transaction Processing: Manage daily account lists, accurately processing or rejecting transactions based on strict compliance and audit guidelines.
Data Analysis: Utilize Advanced Excel to perform quantitative analysis and ensure necessary due diligence is taken for the accuracy of all high-risk transactions.
Reporting: Maintain high standards of reporting to internal and external partners, ensuring all deliverables meet established Service Level Goals.
Operational Excellence: Identify areas of risk and escalate as necessary, participating in process improvements to strengthen the operating model.
Collaboration: Participate in daily 15-minute huddles and work closely with external partners to facilitate smooth operational support.
Qualifications
Advanced Excel: Deep proficiency in Excel is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.
Banking Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar trade processing or banking operations role (recent graduates with a strong Business/Finance degree may be considered).
Reporting & Logic: Demonstrated ability to perform complex reporting and prioritize high-volume workloads.
Education: Completion of a Post-Secondary degree or diploma (Business/Finance preferred).
Precision: High attention to detail is crucial for this high-risk environment.
Agility: A fast learner who can adapt to changing bank policies and new technology platforms (Global, WSS, etc.).
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with external partners.
Professionalism: Ability to take comprehensive notes, ask insightful questions, and work independently with minimal supervision.
