Responsibilities
- Lead engagement with external partners and delivery groups, managing expectations and fostering collaborative planning across diverse interest groups.
- Gather critical input to develop a comprehensive knowledge base for integrated portfolio plans and detailed project roadmaps.
- Proactively identify potential risks and conflicts between project goals and functional areas, recommending robust mitigation strategies to decision-makers.
- Design and maintain progress-tracking dashboards for both internal leadership and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate business requirements and user feedback into actionable execution approaches.
- Maintain and monitor the program document repository, ensuring all materials are current, reviewed, and aligned with organizational standards.
- Implement and manage interventions and change efforts to ensure program go-live schedules and goals are met within high-pressure environments.
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of project/program management experience, managing medium-to-large scale projects with increasing scale and scope.
- Proven experience working within the public sector; existing positive professional relationships in this space are highly valued.
- In-depth application of the Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and modern ways of working (e.g., Agile/Scrum).
- Strong understanding of integrated systems, information directories, and complex business workflows.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Public Administration, or a related field. PMP or a related professional designation is an asset.
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex concepts to senior leaders, coupled with advanced skills in Microsoft 365 and MS Project.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure, navigate political nuances, and lead large-scale meetings.
