- You will be the visionary behind our Salesforce Marketing Cloud ecosystem, driving scalable, high-performing marketing solutions. By bridging the gap between strategic business needs and technical execution, you will ensure our marketing automation capabilities are robust, secure, and deliver seamless, multi-channel customer journeys that drive real business impact.
your typical day includes
- Your day will involve a dynamic mix of strategic design and technical guidance. You might start by collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements for a new multi-channel campaign, before shifting gears to translate those blueprints into functional specifications for the development team. Throughout the day, you will act as the resident SFMC expert—reviewing data architectures, ensuring global coding standards are met, and getting hands-on with AMPscript or Apex to validate complex integrations and real-time triggers.
your responsibilities include
- Design and validate high-performing, scalable solutions on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
- Translate strategic engagement blueprints into technical specifications and reusable code architectures.
- Architect end-to-end, multi-channel customer journeys utilizing Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Cloud Pages.
- Define optimal data architecture to support complex segmentation, personalization, and real-time triggers within SFMC.
- Create automated, integrated marketing campaigns using Marketing Cloud, Automation Studio, and Data Extensions.
- Maintain and develop Apex classes, Visualforce pages, and AMPscript coding.
- Consult with the team on how to use Salesforce Marketing Cloud on an expert level.
- Demonstrate a strong command of technical details to translate proposed solutions into functional specifications with technical teams.
- Establish and enforce global coding standards across the platform.
- Oversee platform security, integration planning, and compliance validation.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to analyze business needs, gather requirements, and process flows, including documentation of all features with acceptance criteria.
your background
- At least 6 years of solid experience with HTML, XML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience working directly with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
- Proven track record of designing complex technical solutions.
- Experience in integrating with SFDC and other data platforms to efficiently push and pull data.
- Active Salesforce Certifications: MC Email Specialist, MC Consultant, and B2C Solution Architect.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
