Responsibilities
Hyper-Care & Support: Act as the technical lead for triaging support tickets, troubleshooting issues, and executing defect resolution.
S/4HANA Optimization: Configure S/4HANA for prioritized deferred items, ensuring functionality aligns with industry-leading practices for FICO, GL, and FM.
Functional Development: Develop detailed functional specifications for development objects to drive system enhancements.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Review and update test scripts and cases, identify test data, execute test runs, and develop plans for regression testing.
Process & Policy Alignment: Update business process documentation and provide input on updated policies required to support new functionality.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Business Process Leads and vendor teams to inform design, configuration, and integration strategies.
Continuous Improvement: Analyze end-to-end financial processes to identify opportunities for improvement, leveraging Standard SAP functionality.
Compliance & Leadership: Support the implementation of workflow approvals aligned with the organization's Delegation of Commitment Authority and provide subject matter expertise to the wider FICO team.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of hands-on experience in large project/program management, preferably within government or large private sector organizations.
SAP Expertise: Deep functional knowledge and configuration experience in SAP S/4HANA, specifically General Ledger (GL), Controlling, Funds Management (FM), and Accounts Payable.
Implementation Track Record: Proven experience in delivering at least two end-to-end SAP implementations.
Certification: SAP Certification in FI-CO is mandatory.
Project Management: Extensive experience with Agile, Waterfall, and iterative project management methodologies and tools.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of test methodologies, including unit, functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT.
Analytical Abilities: Demonstrated critical thinking and strategic planning skills to minimize risk and resolve complex technical issues.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including leadership, business partners, and vendors.
