Responsibilities
Strategic Rollout: Lead the implementation of Group Reporting templates across various agencies and boards, ensuring consistent interpretation of General Ledger (GL) accounts and accounting structures.
System Configuration: Configure S/4HANA Group Accounting, including consolidation units, groups, document types, and consolidation logistics such as inter-agency/corporation eliminations.
Data Integration: Manage data collection processes, including the mapping of ACDOCA to ACDOCU, validation rules, reclassification, adjustment postings, and substitution rules.
Financial Reporting: Lead year-end closing activities, including intercompany reconciliation, consolidation of equity and investments, and the generation of financial statements (Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Operations, etc.) in alignment with PSAB standards.
Optimization & Defect Resolution: Support the PMO in the prioritization and implementation of post-go-live deferred items; provide ongoing support for triaging support tickets and resolving technical defects.
Collaboration: Partner with Business Process Leads and vendor teams to inform the design, development, and integration of SAP and non-SAP solutions.
Advisory Leadership: Identify linkages to key business processes and provide leadership on accounting principles, systems configuration, and best practices to enable end-to-end process efficiency.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of hands-on experience in large-scale program management within government or large private sector organizations.
Core SAP Expertise: Demonstrated success in designing, configuring, and implementing SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting, including data collection and intercompany eliminations.
Implementation History: Proven track record in delivering at least two end-to-end SAP implementations (preferably within a public sector environment).
Certification: SAP Certification in Group Reporting is mandatory.
Technical Depth: Expertise in related S/4HANA modules including Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Project Systems (PS), Asset Accounting (AA), Grants Management, and Asset Retirement Obligation (ARO).
Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of PSAB requirements and the preparation of financial statements in required formats.
Project Management: Extensive experience with traditional and innovative methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, SAP Activate, or PMBOK).
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence leadership and effectively collaborate with technical and business teams.
