Core Responsibilities
Responsible for independently managing Business‑as‑Usual (BAU) activities with high accuracy and timeliness, ensuring strong risk and control discipline, and driving continuous process improvements. The role requires subject‑matter expertise in products, processes, and systems, effective stakeholder engagement, and active people leadership within the team.
Adhere to operational discipline and meet deadlines for incidents, claims, findings, mandatory trainings, and leave compliance (self and team).
- Proactively identify control gaps and ensure controls are appropriately documented and evidenced.
- Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of SOPs, checklists, process controls, and error logs.
- Operations & Settlements: Overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of equity and fixed-income products, including trade allocations, confirmations, and settlements (DTC and international markets).
- Risk & Control Management: Identifying control gaps in automated trading systems and ensuring strong risk discipline to protect production systems critical to business success.
- Regulatory Compliance: Managing KYC/AML workflows, maintaining SOC 2 and ISO 27001 standards, and ensuring all digital platform activities meet evolving regulatory expectations.
- Cross-Functional Integration: Serving as the technical lead between engineering, product, and legal teams to translate business and underwriting requirements into system requirements.
- Performance Monitoring: Using real-time dashboards to track service level agreements (SLAs), turnaround times (TAT), and operational uptime for investment platforms
