Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering: Elicit and document detailed business and technical requirements for electronic health systems and immunization workflows.
- Process Mapping: Analyze and optimize clinical business processes within pharmacies, hospitals, and health record departments to ensure seamless data flow.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with various customers and clinical stakeholders to manage queries, identify risks, and resolve issues within highly political environments.
- Project Coordination: Manage work packages within matrix organizational environments, ensuring tasks are coordinated effectively and deadlines are met.
- Compliance & Privacy: Ensure all business requirements and system designs adhere to legislative standards, including PHIPA, FIPPA, and HPPA.
- System Implementation: Support the deployment and business implementation of healthcare information systems, including the identification of client types (e.g., Provincial Client Registry).
Qualifications
- Education: Undergraduate degree in Health, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business is preferred.
- Core Experience: 5–7 years of Business Analyst experience specifically within electronic health-related projects and clinical software systems.
- Domain Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of immunization workflows and business processes within pharmacies, hospitals, and health record environments.
- Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of effective presentation and conflict resolution.
- Environment: Proven experience operating successfully in matrix organizations and highly political healthcare landscapes.
- Technical Familiarity: Knowledge of healthcare data workflows and client identification registries
