Responsibilities
- Architecture Development: Develop and implement data architecture for application development with a specific focus on metadata management.
- Standardization: Provide a standard common business vocabulary and express strategic data requirements through high-level integrated designs.
- Alignment: Ensure all data models align with enterprise strategy, business architecture, and clinical requirements.
- Metadata Strategy: Support the utilization of tools like Informatica to develop an implementation approach for metadata management.
- Interoperability: Assess connections between recommended tools and the development of an updated OID/URI database to drive data quality and consistency across the health system.
- Collaboration: Facilitate co-design sessions with cross-functional teams (clinical, product, and development) to translate complex architecture into plain-language visuals.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years in solution design, system integration, or platform delivery within complex digital environments (Public Sector experience is a must-have).
- Cross-Functional Leadership: 10+ years of experience working with clinical, product, and technical stakeholders.
- Technical Mastery: Expertise in data modeling methods and tools (e.g., ERWIN, VISIO, PowerDesigner) and a deep understanding of normalization standards.
- Domain Knowledge: Broad knowledge across multiple architectural disciplines: Business, Application, Infrastructure, Network, Privacy, and Security.
- Information Management: Strong understanding of metadata structures, reference vocabularies, repository functions, and data classification schemes.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical architecture into plain language for non-technical partners.
