• Leads integrated team(s) to deliver end-to-end projects / programs ensuring that they are delivered on time within budget and scope and to agreed quality criteria
• Mentors and coaches professionals to develop current and future team capabilities and be knowledgeable of procurement processes and commercial acumen to lead and educate Project & Program Management teams
• Leads the handling of issue escalations, project risks, dependencies and project changes, implements scheduling changes, cost adjustments or resource additions as appropriate within large complex (cross) projects or programs
• Oversees a range of projects / programs interfacing with diverse, multifunctional stakeholders while continuously aligning with leaders on strategy and progress
• Operates as an SME within own field of expertise to oversee the development, documentation and implementation of projects / programs, establishing project objectives / deliverables and priorities with business stakeholders that are in line with organization policies and strategies
• Leads the definition and management of large-scale (cross) project plans or program budgets, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management and progress reporting; ensures project or program benefits are identified and managed throughout the lifecycle
• Leads the implementation of continuous improvement opportunities to improve the Project/Program Management & PMO team processes, e.g., agile methodologies such as LEAN, Six Sigma.
• Ensures project and program deliverables meet technical quality and reliability standards and tracks realized benefitsGrade Descriptor
• Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline or field
• Guides or leads others to solve complex problems
• Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
• Contributes to best practices and technical and/or professional direction for the job discipline within the context of assigned work
• Typically leads projects or project teams with oversight and accountability for outcomes
