Responsibilities
Technical Development: Translate technical system specifications into working, tested applications; develop detailed programming specifications and conduct rigorous unit testing.
Siebel Engineering: Configure and design Siebel Business Layer objects including Assignment Manager, Business Rules, Workflows, Applets, Views, and Screens.
Modernization: Leverage Siebel IP18+ features and Open UI specific classes and methods to enhance user experience and system functionality.
Integration Mastery: Lead complex integrations using Siebel EIM/EAI; manage UI integrations such as embedding external applications in Siebel or exposing Siebel externally.
Analytics & Reporting: Design and develop comprehensive reports and dashboards using OBIEE and PowerBI.
System Administration: Configure Siebel migration applications and administer the Siebel Approval Manager.
Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems arising during operation, providing expert assistance in implementation, conversion, and migrations.
Collaboration: Partner with IT professionals throughout the SDLC, elicit requirements from diverse stakeholders, and participate in design walkthroughs.
Qualifications
Siebel Expertise: 10+ years of experience with Siebel technical configuration, design, development, and integration.
Version Proficiency: 3+ years of experience with Siebel IP18; demonstrated possession of Siebel 8.x (or above) certification.
Integration Experience: 5+ years of experience integrating Siebel with Adobe AEM and J2EE; 5+ years of experience with Siebel EIM/EAI.
Frontend Skills: Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript; deep understanding of Siebel Open UI Architecture (Physical Model, Presentation Model, Manifest Files).
Reporting Tools: Proven experience in OBIEE and PowerBI report development.
Technical Toolset: Extensive experience with Siebel Tools, editing Web Templates, and working with relational/hierarchical database technologies.
Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with a track record for meeting strict deadlines.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to conceptualize and present new technical approaches.
