• Utilize Terex’s eleven step Strategic Sourcing process to reduce total cost of ownership and increase overall value

• Lead and participates in cross-functional projects

• Manages relationships with key suppliers and negotiate company-wide contracts

• Interface and act as the liaison between the Terex businesses and suppliers 

• Drive continuous improvement and business simplification efforts 

• Maintain conduct consistent with company policy, operating procedures, accepted practices and applicable laws

• Provide Assistance to Buyers, Managers, Supplier quality and Weld Engineers form Sourcing Team

• KPI Monitoring and Record Maintenance

• Data Management – Include RFQ, PO, Supplier Records, Financial Data, Quality Documents

Qualifications / Skill/ Experience / Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Minimum 3-5 years successful track record in sourcing or category management

• Able to read technical drawings, specifications and applications Will be PReferred

• Strong procurement and strategic sourcing background with focus on Direct Materials

• Strong sourcing and negotiation skills

• Operates effectively, even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clear

• Experience in writing project materials including business cases, ROI justification documents, project plans, timelines, supplier agreements and status reports

• Is self-aware and gains the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity

• Ideal candidate is entrepreneurial and able to work with limited guidance once they understand the problem and goal of solution

• Ability to execute in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, where results are rewarded

• Project management skills Preferred

• Good communication and listening skills

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

• Self-starter who is able to thrive in a dynamic environment under short timelines and changing priorities

Travel:

• Must be willing and able to travel locally and globally (up to15%; Could Increase during challenging Business environments).
