Responsibilities
- Technical Advisory: Serve as the subject matter expert on all aspects of specific project deliverables, providing quality control and strategic guidance on IT infrastructure enhancements.
- Quality Assurance & Automation: Design and implement automated testing frameworks using Selenium and Playwright. Lead the creation of test strategies, plans, and scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- AODA Compliance: Ensure all web applications meet WCAG AA standards using tools such as AXE, NVDA, and Narrator.
- Data Analysis & Profiling: Perform deep-dive data profiling and analysis across diverse repositories (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2) to identify cleanliness issues and validate business logic.
- ETL & Migration Testing: Create and execute detailed test cases for migrating code and data (e.g., from DB2/Oracle to SQL Server), ensuring data integrity throughout the ETL process.
- BI Reporting: Test and support the implementation of Microsoft Business Intelligence solutions, including the presentation layer and complex reports.
- Security & API Testing: Validate RESTful APIs and conduct cybersecurity risk assessments using industry-standard tools.
- Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior QA analysts, providing direction on the test framework and execution.
Qualifications
- Automation Mastery: 8+ years of experience using Selenium and Playwright to create robust automated test scripts.
- Accessibility Expert: Proven knowledge of AODA and WCAG AA compliance testing methodologies.
- Data & ETL Proficiency: Extensive experience designing and testing ETL process flows, data warehouses, and data marts.
- Microsoft BI Stack: Expertise in SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and Power BI.
- API & Security Testing: Skilled in testing RESTful APIs with Postman/SoapUI and security risk testing with tools like Burp Suite.
- SQL & Database Skills: Advanced SQL scripting for data profiling and testing across Oracle (19c), SQL Server, and IBM DB2.
- Methodologies: Strong background in both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall environments, using Azure DevOps or TFS for defect management.
- Document Proficiency: Experience creating technical design documents, source-to-target mappings, and operational manuals.
