The specific criteria will require you supporting young people with severe difficulties in communication and in depth learning disabilities. This role gives you the opportunity to be part of an amazing hardworking team. You will experience a new experience each day within the job role as you will be supporting pupils within different activities, core subject learning schedules and sometimes roles related to eating and drinking. You may travel to the local stores and assist with life development skills i.e. money handling or providing companionship trips to the local gym. The organisation is a mixture and specialist within being a special school, children's home and college. This role is challenging and you may have different emotions throughout your employment journey as it can get frustrating, anxious and emotional at times but if you are driven, passionate, resilient towards helping students in uncontrolled situations this may be the job for you. A key part of the role is understanding the delicacy of the situation and being a guide to vulnerable students and young adults. This role is for an immediate start but you will require an enhanced DBS (Disclosure Barring Services) on the update service to apply for this role.
