PURPOSE
The ERP Manager manages the ERP systems functional and technical services and ensures the systems are available and performance is suitable for the business needs.
They require broad knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and Enterprise resource planning systems to lead a team that supports the ERP systems and ensures that they provide maximum value to the business.
This role acts as the regional ERP Lead for India, accountable for delivery, support, and optimisation of ERP services within the region, while operating as a counterpart to the Global ERP Lead to ensure alignment with enterprise strategy, architecture, and governance.

To: Head of DSC
Reports: ERP Technical Team Lead, ERP Functional Team Lead, ERP Development Team Lead
Dotted line to the Global Service Line (GSL) for ERP to ensure:
a) Proper implementation of the ERP strategy within the DSC.
b) Conformity to the ERP Governance and Compliance obligations.
c) End to end delivery of ERP projects to the highest standards.
d) Adherence to ERP best practices within the DSC.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
•Manages functional, technical and development support streams of the ERP Services team, including the S/4HANA system, and the associated environments (SAP Business Technology Platform, Ariba and supporting cloud services)
•Ensures the performance and availability of the systems are suited to the business needs.
•Manages the DSC ERP team to ensure the systems are managed and maintained appropriately, and leads the teams with direction and guidance
•Is responsible for integrity of the system, and that the system architecture is fit-for-purpose and effective.
•Engages with key stakeholders through the various systems lifecycle to maintain systems currency, whilst driving innovation and managing costs.
•Collaborates with the Digital Leadership Team to align the ERP roadmap with the Digital Strategy.
•Leads the team in pursuit of innovation opportunities and discovery of new initiatives in line with the Digital policies and processes.
•Is responsible for compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley act and safeguards the business from adverse findings and weaknesses through the documented controls.
•Manage contracts and vendor engagements in line with Company CAPP Procedure
•Maintains awareness of and complies with current Digital requirements and minimizes risk to the business.
•Is accountable for Change Management and the representation of the DSC ERP team at the Change Advisory Board.
•Provides input to the Digital budget process for ongoing systems support as well as functional enhancements and minor projects, as well as managing costs are manage within the allocated budget.
•Align with the technical, functional and development support provided by the Application Managed Services provider to ensure an effective and efficient support structure and process is maintained.
•Accountable for the delivery of assigned initiatives through the demand management process, ensuring outcomes are delivered to agreed scope, schedule, cost, and quality, and in alignment with global ERP strategy and governance.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• 10-12+ years of experience in managing SAP systems and providing technical support.
• Experience in managing a complex SAP S/4HANA ecosystem and supporting applications.
• Strong business understanding and experience in the core areas of Finance, Procurement, Logistics and Asset Maintenance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships within a cross-functional team.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
