Responsibilities
•Conduct detailed interpretation and analysis of balance sheets for TDS and its underlying businesses.
•Perform upfront regional P&L analysis, including the comprehension of entity structures and revenue transfers.
•Collaborate closely with regional finance teams and Product Control to ensure accuracy in reporting.
•Analyze Capital Markets products and their financial implications.
•Engage with stakeholders to communicate financial insights and support regional tax and P&L considerations.
Qualifications
•Education: Mandatory University degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
•Experience: 5+ years of experience in the banking sector, specifically within Capital Markets.
•Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in interpreting balance sheets and analyzing regional P&L.
•Product Knowledge: Strong foundational knowledge of Capital Markets products.
•Soft Skills: Personable and communicative; able to build relationships with cross-functional finance teams.
•Designations (Nice-to-Have): CPA or CFA designation is highly preferred.
•Technical "Pluses": Experience with Python scripts, Macros, or knowledge of regional tax structures.
Summary
As a Finance Analyst V, you will play a pivotal role in interpreting balance sheets and providing a comprehensive regional view of P&L for the bank’s underlying businesses. Working within the CTO Product Control business unit, you will support the shift toward proactive, upfront analysis. This role requires a sophisticated understanding of how capital markets products impact the balance sheet and how revenue flows across different entity structures.
