The Key Account Manager shall be responsible for developing/building a regional network of employers, government officials, political offices and institutions in their respective regions. REPORTING: The incumbent shall report to the Regional Lead
RESPONSIBILITIES: The incumbent shall work with the following stakeholders:
a. Government officials/regional administration
b. Political entities
c. Employers (industries, industry bodies, SME/SMB and larger large scale regional employers) that could potentially hire students trained by the Foundation.
d. Institutions in their region
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field
● Mahatma Gandhi National Fellows or similar
● 1-5 years of relevant work experience
Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs) : District level Engagement & Relationship Building for placement. They shall be held accountable for:
• Sound, long term and respectful relationship with the above stakeholders in their region.
• Meeting placement goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Develop and nurture strong professional relationships with key district officials and department heads from agencies focused on industry, employment, labor, skilling, and education.
• Develop direct relationship with larger corporate employers in each territory.
• Collaboration with HR departments during the programs’ skilling and training process so that market needs and requirements get baked into our programs to ensure that people who graduate are truly job ready.
• Collaborate with district officials to co-host career fairs, workshops, and seminars. Involve local government leaders in inaugurating these events to increase their visibility and impact.
