The Cyber team is responsible for creating a consistent cyber culture across the Global Cyber team and driving the strategic uplift of cyber capability across the Woodside business. Our team partners closely with our CISO and Cyber teams, Cyber Service Line owners and our Digital Service Centre Lead team, with operations situated in Australia and North America to ensure safe, reliable global operations. As Regional Cyber Security Manager in Bengaluru, you’ll report to the Head of Digital and help shape global solutions and future capabilities. You’ll lead local Cyber Security teams and join the Digital Solutions leadership group. We work together to maintain Woodside’s secure digital environment in support of our mission. Duties & Responsibilities: • Act as the primary interface between the India-based cyber security team and internal stakeholders, ensuring strong alignment with regional and global cyber objectives. • Facilitate clear, timely, and effective communication within the team and with regional and global partners. • Provide regular reporting on team performance, risks, challenges, and achievements to senior leadership. • Identify and proactively remove impediments impacting delivery, working closely with the Head of the DSC and key stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently. • Maintain transparent stakeholder engagement by communicating progress, priorities, and outcomes. • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture aligned with organisational values. • Identify capability, training, and development needs, and support continuous learning and professional growth within the team. • Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support career development for team members. • Plan, prioritise, and manage workload to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of cyber outcomes across the region. • Contribute to strategic planning for the cyber function, ensuring regional activities support enterprise cyber strategy. • Align team objectives with broader business goals and regional operational priorities. • Take accountability for team performance and the successful delivery of agreed outcomes. • Ensure compliance with organisational policies, standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. Skills & Experience: • Experience in setting up and operating a multidisciplinary cyber team • Oil and gas experience preferred • Bachelor/Masters degree with appropriate specialisation qualifications • Budgeting and cost management • Performance measurement and reporting • Digital and Technical Acumen: Understanding digital technologies, data governance policies, cybersecurity standards and regulatory compliance requirements • Excellent communication and English language skills • Excellent organisational skills demonstrated by the ability to manage resources in a dynamic environment • Demonstrated ability to work with non technical business stakeholders and influence stakeholders at all levels • Proven experience in building a new cyber organisation from the ground up, with the ability to inspire and guide people through change and transformation • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor cross-discipline teams, balancing the competing needs for autonomy, mastery and purpose • A track record of developing and maintaining strong cross-functional and cross cultural relationships both in country and across international locations If you think you can do this job but don’t meet all the criteria, that’s OK!
