• Provides leadership and direction for large and diverse teams through senior managers
• Collaborates cross-functionally on strategic initiatives with senior business leaders and finance teams to deliver on critical business outcomes
• Sets finance policies and practices in own operating company, maintaining full compliance to regulatory requirements
• Monitors and continuously improves the effectiveness of finance programs
• Has accountability for multiple budgets / P&L, strategy, performance and results of multiple, diverse, teamsGrade Descriptor
• Broad and comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles in multiple disciplines
• Provides leadership and direction for an organization segment or a significant portion of an organization segment (often the lead of multiple areas) through senior managers
• Has accountability for the performance, execution of strategy and results achievement of a significant portion of an organization function, often leading a part of the business that cuts across regions or divisions, globally
• Contributes to and influences the sub-function strategy through the scale of the area(s) of responsibility
• Sets sub-function or area annual plan; provides input to the organization functional / sub-functional strategy; may sit on the leadership team (at regional/functional/divisional level)
