Responsibilities
Integrated Program Leadership: Provide oversight across multiple initiatives, ensuring coordinated planning, execution, and risk management across concurrent workstreams.
Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate consensus-building and decision-making among business, clinical, policy, and Ministry partners. Clarify roles, responsibilities, and priorities to ensure unified delivery.
Product & Release Planning: Apply product management principles to prioritize backlogs, sequence deliverables, and ensure all enhancements align with user and system outcomes.
Vendor Management: Oversee vendor-led delivery, including managing structured review cycles, providing feedback on deliverables, and aligning enhancements with the program roadmap.
Financial & Contractual Oversight: Manage Transfer Payment Agreements (TPAs) in coordination with Procurement and Finance. Lead budget development, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Government Procurement Support: Support the development of Statements of Work (SOWs) and align stakeholders on scope, priorities, and timelines to support procurement processes.
Executive Communication: Author high-quality briefing notes, presentations, and decision materials under tight timelines to support senior leadership and governance structures.
Subprogram Management: Oversee annual Quality Improvement (QI) reviews, complaint intake/investigation coordination with the Ministry, and partner-facing presentation requests.
Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years of program management experience within complex, multi-partner, and multi-workstream environments.
Public Sector Expertise: Deep understanding of public sector governance, accountability frameworks, policy considerations, and funding structures.
Product Management: Demonstrated experience in release planning, backlog prioritization, and outcome-based goal setting.
Vendor & Procurement: Proven track record in managing vendor-delivered work and supporting government procurement processes.
Financial Acumen: Strong experience managing TPAs and complex budgets, including spend tracking and financial-to-contractual alignment.
Leadership: Exceptional facilitation and consensus-building skills with the ability to lead diverse teams through ambiguity.
Communication: Proven ability to translate complex financial or delivery data into clear, compelling narratives for executive audiences.
Desired Skills
Experience in digital health, "digital front door," or patient access initiatives.
Familiarity with Quality Improvement (QI) cycles and performance reporting.
Experience with hybrid product/program delivery models.
Direct experience coordinating with the Ministry of Health or similar provincial agencies.
