Responsibilities
Cloud Strategy & Enablement: Enable and design multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, IBM, Oracle, GCP) at an enterprise scale.
Infrastructure Provisioning: Create and update provisioning pipelines; write and maintain code bases for infrastructure delivery, data gathering, and reporting.
Security Architecture: Design and configure advanced security protocols for both existing and new cloud providers to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
Technical Engineering: Translate technical systems specifications into tested, high-performing applications; develop detailed programming specifications, write code, and conduct rigorous unit testing.
Operational Excellence: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems within cloud environments, including assistance with implementation, conversion, and migration activities.
Reusable Patterns: Develop complex setup patterns for public cloud providers to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across the organization.
Collaboration: Partner with IT stakeholders and vendor partners to elicit documentation, negotiate processes, and resolve operational issues throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Qualifications
Cloud Expertise: Demonstrated experience designing and enabling multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, IBM, Oracle, GCP) in large, complex environments.
Programming & SDLC: Extensive experience in programming, system analysis, and the use of object-oriented/third-generation language development tools.
Security Focus: Strong knowledge of designing and configuring advanced security within cloud infrastructures, including security groups and network access controls.
Development Skills: Proven ability to design, code, test, debug, and document applications using modern design patterns.
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills with a focus on resolving cloud environment incidents and optimizing infrastructure delivery.
Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of working effectively with key stakeholders and technical teams to resolve operational issues.
