Undertake a review and analysis of technical and product information from various sources to document product functionality as applicable to the future operating framework.Prepare, review and maintain technical documentation including software end user documentation, detailed user guides, FAQs, technical overviews and in-product help documentation, as part of a suite of customised training manuals and support materialsWrite, format, edit, review and proof procedural and technical information for technical and non-technical users. Work closely with the Training Workstream to assist and support planning, scheduling and tracking of documentation to meet product release dates and project deliverables. Maintain a library of application documentation, cataloguing it for internal use.Testing Support MaterialsScope, develop, undertake consultation and validation, and finalise customised test plans and procedures.Skills requiredBachelor’s Degree or vocational qualifications in a technical field with a focus on English, writing or communication.Experience working as a Technical Writer, or in a similar role, within the vocational education and training sector, preferably familiar with systematic approaches to training such as the ADDIE model.Experience in the electrical utility segment or similar is highly advantageous.Experience in creating documentation for audiences with different levels of technical skill and knowledge.Experience creating infographics such as diagrams, screenshots, workflows and graphs as well as multimedia content.Apply today for immediate consideration.
